Jet Power II is a grease liquefier designed
to quickly and easily eliminate grease from sewer lines. Jet
Power II is non-corrosive, biodegradable, non-acidic, non-caustic,
and is treatment plant friendly.
How it Works
A 1% solution of Jet Power II is mixed in your
High Pressure Jet Truck. Only 10 gallons of Jet Power II is
needed to produce 1,000 gallons of solution, and will treat
approximately 1,000 feet of sewer pipe.
The Treatment
Jet-spray the Jet Power II solution upstream from the affected
pipe. The treatment requires only 10 to 15 minutes to liquefy
grease, allowing you to quickly move onto jet spraying and
retrieval. When jet spraying, pressure should be set to maximum
PSI and reel speed. The hose can be stopped at the upstream
manhole, at which point the water pressure is turned off.
Roughly 10 minutes later the grease will be homogenized. For
best results, we recommend using a rotating nozzle.
The Results
The liquid grease washes downstream and will not re-coagulate.
Most pipes are left virtually free of grease after just one
pass using Jet Power II Grease Liquefying System.
